(sorry for late answer!) yeah, I think so. matt can't be matt without daredevil, which isn't possible if he's sighted. also, if he ends as sighted, that'd be FULL ON angst. which is like, also fine, but I'd rest easier for fictional matt if it ends with reconciliation and communication. although, if it was irreversible... UGH. I can feel my hypothetical heart strings twinging and breaking.
