Not long after S2 ending, Matt and Frank are kinda recreationally slugging it out on some rooftop. Their argument about killing is well-worn and the whole thing is almost friendly, more like blowing off steam than a serious fight.
Maybe for both of them the other is the closest thing to somebody who understands.
Matt gets in a good hit and Frank goes down, and Matt waits for him to get back up (like always) but suddenly Frank is disoriented, slurring his words, struggling and failing to get back to his feet.
Matt's going... uh, shit. Is this guy still the enemy? Do I call the cops? Leave him to it? He did help me out that one time...
Maybe Matt gets to the point where 'leave him to it' seems the best option, but then the bad guys arrive
