Would he be able to tell that much over a phone line, though? Granted, he was in serious pain at the time, but Matt did say he would have had to concentrate/focus just to hear Karen's side of the phone conversation in NvM.

Then again, maybe he's got enough motivation to really focus once the flirting starts.
