To answer the first question, when we open the claiming can be negotiated based on the best time zone for everyone once I know the time zones of who is participating, certainly. I do want to keep it fair.
For the second question... well, thank you for having that level of faith in me to find more than 21 people to sign up, first off! Honestly, I was more worried we wouldn't have enough people! :D
The idea is to start off with 21 writers and 21 multimedia fillers. If we get more than 21, than at that point the idea would be to allow more than one person to claim a prompt and allow for multiple fills. I just wanted to make sure that all 21 prompts get a fill first. The same thing goes for the multimedia fillers.
If we have less than 21 writers or multimedia fillers, it will just be a case of not being able to guarantee every single winning prompt a fill, unfortunately.
So, really, I HOPE HOPE HOPE that I can have the problem of too many sign-ups. I didn't want to initially encourage multiple fills because I figured that then it could end up with 6 people all filling one prompt but the others not getting any love. And I wanted to ensure that the single fills we get are fairly substantial (not WIPs or too short).
