Yes, absolutely, if Matt has been killing nonstop then there's absolutely no reset button for him, no do-overs. I think Frank would struggle more with himself, getting himself to the point where he would have to accept his role in what's become of Matt Murdock, but once he finally got to the point where he wasn't making any more excuses for himself, yeah, I think he'd do Matt right quick. With love, actually. Frank would consider it a mercy killing, because Frank would have to know Matt never ever ever intended to be That Guy that he'd become, yknow? Matt wouldn't want to live that way, and of course Matt can't off himself. Frank would do him the correct favour of taking care of the problem.
You know Matt would understand why Frank would hold a gun to his head there at the end, I think he'd know what was coming and he'd accept it, he wouldn't struggle, he'd just close his eyes, like a lamb to the slaughter, and let Frank be his executioner.
