(A/N: Foggy and Matt are just recently together but are of course still quite established. The gangbang happened before they were romantic partners.)
The building was unusually quiet, the sounds of the city pressing in without finding purchase. It was something Foggy had noticed since That Night; Matt could go as quiet as stone when he wanted to be. Or maybe it was just that he commanded your attention, made it impossible to notice little things like sounds and smells and potentially mortal wounds.
It was nearing midnight and Karen had been gone for hours because she was a functioning adult who went on dates that weren't work dates. In theory, Foggy had gone home about an hour after her because this wasn't a work date and his eyes had been drooping closed. There was something about the case that had kept him from sleep, though, so here he was. Standing in the door to Matt's office. Watching his partner cry, silent as blackout and apparently unaware that he wasn't alone any more.
Matt was wearing headphones. His hands were poised over his keyboard, and as Foggy watched they trembled. He cleared his throat, and Matt ripped the headphones off and scrambled away from his desk.
"You okay there, buddy?" Foggy looked him over, checking for any obvious injuries or... Woah. That was. That was definitely a boner. "Uh."
In a second, he had his arms full of Matt. The angle was awkward. Side wound? Weird sex injury? He sneakily slid his arms tighter around Matt, hands gentle and alert for the inevitable flinch. It didn't come.
When their chests were flush together Matt started returning the grip until Foggy's shoulders started to ache. "Ready to talk about it?" he murmured into Matt's ear, thinking that if they didn't unhug soon Matt would twist a hip.
Ah. Right. So his boner wouldn't touch Foggy. He filed that away in case he needed to be insulted about it later.
