Oh, god, imagine if this is how Karen finds out:

A cockroach skitters across the floor in Matt's office. A moment later Karen and Foggy hear a load thump, followed by a smaller one.

Karen pokes her head around the door curiously. "Everything all right in here? Why are you on top of your desk?"

"Is it gone?"

"Is... what gone?"

"The cockroach! I threw a book at it. Is it dead?"

And sure enough, there's a law book on the floor, even bigger and heavier than most because it's in Braille.
