Maybe they met through the Avengers, or she needed legal advice because *handwavey plot reasons*, or Tippy-Toe brought Doreen to see the nice blind man who feeds squirrels in the parks even though he's not really supposed to.

However it happens, just give me Doreen being BFFs with Matt. Bonus points for Doreen also being BFFs with Foggy and Karen.
