So let's say that when Frank got married, it was to his childhood friend Matt instead of Maria.

When the tragedy happens, their two kids are still shot dead, but Matt's body is nowhere to be found. Knowing the chances of survival for someone missing for more than a few days, Frank tries not to get his hopes up that Matt could still be out there somewhere, but he never stops searching for the truth of what happened to him.

Then he meets Daredevil, who seems to know Frank very well... could he have had something to do with it?
