Re: Slow burn Foggy/Matt OP fill 4/4 Finished!

He goes in work the next day, and Karen double takes as he crosses the threshold.

“Fog, you ok?”

Foggy hangs up his jacket, and collapses into his office chair. He sighs, and runs a hand through his hair.

“Fog? Foggy?”

Karen’s at his side, shaking him roughly. “You’ve just been ignoring me for the last 5 minutes. What’s up?”

Foggy turns to her and squints. “I’m a bad person.”

“You may have to give me more than that, Fog. Did you take the last bagel again?” Karen’s trying to distract him. Foggy knows that it won’t work, but he can lie and let her think that it has. He chuckles, and Karen seems appeased for now.

Most of the morning is uneventful. They’re running through countless pieces of evidence for their latest case, trying to bring it all together and polish up the edges. Because it’s easier to shout across the room when they find something, they’re all working in the same place, and while the guilt and shame is still playing on Foggy’s mind, this he can cope with.

Karen gets up from her chair at 12:30 and stretches. She smiles easily at both of them, grabs her coat and bag, and heads off out for her lunch hour. It’s 15 minutes afterwards when Foggy realises she’s got the right idea. He stands up, walks over to Matt to ask if he fancied anything for lunch, then heads towards the office door.

He tries to turn the handle only to find it won’t budge. He wipes his hand on his jacket sleeve, and tries again. It still doesn’t move. He barges his shoulder into it the third time and nothing happens. All he manages to achieve is a dull pain in his elbow which makes him swear, and Matt glances up.

“Problem?” Matt asks.

Foggy’s about to answer when his phone vibrates in his pocket. He pulls it out and feels his blood run cold.

“You’re both staying locked in there until you tell him, Fog.”

Foggy’s hand tightens on his phone. Matt’s standing up now, concerned. He can feel his heart pounding in his chest, and he’s guessing Matt’s reacting to that.

“Foggy, what’s happened?”

Foggy turns back to the door and fumbles with his phone. “Erm…ah. The door is locked. Karen…Karen locked the door.”

Matt’s at his side now and he’s far too close. “Why would Karen do that?”

Foggy lies before he’s even thought about who is lying to. “I don’t know. Why would I know?”

Matt stops trying to open the door and turns to face Foggy.
“You’re lying. You know I can tell.”

“Matt…”

“Because I don’t understand why you’d lie to me about this. It makes so little sense. You’ve been off with me for a while now, and I’m worried, Fog. I first thought it was me, the Daredevilling, and then you told me it was a lack of sleep, and Karen tried to convince me that I’d not upset you, and I don’t know what to think anymore.”

Several moments pass. No one speaks.

“Just tell me, Foggy. Why did Karen do this?”

Foggy slides down the wall next to the door, and curls up in a ball. This is not happening. Even now, Matt’s the perfect human being and using his senses to notice the hell that Foggy’s going through. He feels Matt’s body sit down next to him, and his hand on his shoulder.

“Foggy.” Matt whispers, concern in his voice. “Why did Karen lock us in here?”

Foggy mumbles into his knees. “Because you’re all I’ve dreamt of for months now.” It’s only when he feels Matt tense up next to him in shock that he remembers that Matt could hear that.

Foggy jumps to his feet, and immediately tries to come up with some angle that gets him out of whatever hole he’s just fallen into. “You worry me, Matt. Karen knows I’ve been worrying about you, with the night time trips out, and…” he looks at Matt’s face, and Foggy knows the look that Matt’s sending him back. “…you don’t believe a word I just said, do you?” .

“Your heart rate’s increased by about 15%. You stuttered your way through the first sentence, and your stomach is growling slightly, almost like it’s whimpering. Your palms are sweating. You’re lying to me.”

“You know, I think I preferred it when you just played along with my lies. Okay, so I’ve not been dreaming about you…” Perhaps, if Matt thinks it’s all a lie, he can get through this.

Matt’s close now, and backing Foggy into a corner. “No,” and his voice is lower, steelier, dangerous. Despite himself, Foggy feels his body begin to respond. “You weren’t lying about that.” Foggy feels his body hit the wall behind him, feels the accusation in Matt’s voice. Matt, he realises, is not going to let this go – he’s heard that edge to it when Matt’s been cross-examining a particularly difficult witness. “Why were you dreaming about me, Fog?”

Fog closes his eyes, takes in a deep breath, and tries to speak. “IthinkthatI’m…oh fuck it.” Foggy tugs on Matt’s tie, and presses his lips against Matt’s.

Foggy thinks he’s made a terrible mistake when he pulls away. His heart is hammering in his chest, and he wants to run away, but his body won’t move. A second later and he’s very glad that he isn’t running. Matt lets out huff, then moans quietly, and it’s the best noise Foggy has ever heard in his life. Foggy would sell his soul to hear Matt make that noise because of him again. It’s the last conscious thought that runs through Foggy’s brain before Matt’s grabbing him by the shirt and kissing him harder. Hands are tangling in hair, fingers are tracing faces, indecent sounds are escaping from their snogging, and time seems to be unimportant now.

Eventually, Matt pulls away, and Foggy whines in annoyance. “I was enjoying that.”

“I can tell. Your heartbeat, Foggy…” Matt leans in for another kiss, and Foggy grins up at him. It’s absolute torture, then, when Matt is so close to him, but pushing him back into the wall. “What were you dreaming about, Fog?”

Foggy wriggles in Matt’s grip, trying to get the couple of inches closer so that their lips can touch. “Matty, please…”

“Franklin. The dreams?”

“You. Always you.”

Foggy’s rewarded with a nip at his earlobe, and he shudders involuntarily. “What about me, Foggy?” The words feel warm again his neck as they are breathed against his skin. Foggy screws up his hands, closes his eyes, and grits his teeth.

“The things I want to do to you. With you.” He yelps when Matt nips and sucks at his pulse hammering in his neck in response. “Matty…that’s going to mark.”

He feels Matt’s evil grin against his skin. “I intend it to. What kind of things? Us watching a film together, going out for Chinese food…?” The mocking tone in his voice trails off, and Foggy whimpers. “Tell me. I really want to know.”

“Matty…so close.” He’s buzzing with anticipation, and Matt’s running his thumb along the sensitive spot on Foggy’s neck.

“Tell me.”

“Sex stuff, ok? God, Matt. Just utter, utter filth and…” He can feel the arousal coiling in the bottom of his stomach, and Matt just seems as calm as ever, like he’s caught his prey and now he’s going to carry on teasing him. Evil git.

Matt chuckles into his neck, bites down, and Foggy shouts in pleasure. His hand is reaching for Foggy’s fly, pulling it down slowly, and Foggy can’t look away when Matt sinks to his knees in front of him, and pulls him out of his briefs. Matt smirks as he licks the tip before swallowing him and Foggy’s brain just stops working. His hands go to Matt’s shoulders automatically, and he’s gripping them tight when he finally comes in Matt’s mouth.

Once Foggy has finally got his wits together, he notices that Matt’s still smirking. “Utter filth like that?”

Foggy can’t help but chuckle. “Yeah, buddy, just like that. Matt, are we…I mean, if you want to.”

Matt’s grinning at him again. “Let’s just say I was waiting for you to wise up. I’ve been waiting for you to kiss me since forever. Your heartbeat might have given you away, and recently it’s been really really obvious…”

Matt trails off just as Karen opens the door to the office. She takes one look at both of them and breaks out into a massive smile. Foggy immediately glances down to his crotch, and thank fuck he had time to do himself back up. He glances over at Matt, who looks beautifully debauched – lips red and plump and hair stuck up all over. No wonder Karen is grinning.

“So, you two are going to let me have the rest of today off, and let me come in an hour late tomorrow, ok?”

Matt just grabs Foggy by the arm (and one day Foggy is going to have a word with Matt about hiding the super senses in the office properly). He faces Foggy and says “Sure, Karen. I think Mr. Nelson and myself have some unfinished business to attend to.” Foggy’s eyes widen, and he can see Karen dancing a happy dance behind them.

She picks up her coat, thumbs up at Foggy, and then creeps out of the now-unlocked door. “Condoms and lube in top drawer, boys, be safe! And nice hickey, Foggy, really brings out the colour of your eyes.”
