Oh nonnie, I am with you on this prompt because that was an honestly shitty thing to say. Foggy deserved to be angry, and Matt should have explained himself better, too, but... for Foggy to regret that he ever felt pity for Matt because he thinks Matt has been sighted all this time is just, wow. As if that is the one thing that changes everything for Matt's shitty life? Matt's mother abandoned him as a baby, his father was killed, he was raised in an orphanage, but NONE of that matters because Matt isn't blind?

I honestly wanted Matt to be very angry for that. And instead what I got was Matt The Stoic saying he never asked for pity and then crying and practically begging because Foggy cuts him so deep. AUGH IT STILL HURTS FML.
