can somebody give me the bullet points of all the illegal stuff fisk & co have done? i get confused by all the legalese...

Main crime for Fisk: Racketeering (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/r/racketeering.asp )

Basically Fisk has extorted money (got money from people by threats, violence etc) bribed people and committed money laundering ie made illegal money look legitimate. He's also organised murders and such which would make him an accomplice to the crimes but I can't remember if I heard him charged with that. I definitely know he was charged with racketeering; I heard it in the scene when he was arrested.

He's involved with the Russians - human trafficking, kidnapping, (I think they also moved the drugs?)

The Chinese - producing drugs

The Yakuza - I don't remember what their role was. Toward the end, they wanted the city block where Mrs Cardenas lived.

Owlsley - He moved money around?

The Police - they killed people for Fisk? And other illegal things?

The newspaper - The editor of Ben's paper was working for Fisk.

(wow, I really need to rewatch the show. I guess I was too distracted by Matt's ass hahaha)

Ben's editor wasn't working for Fisk though? He wasn't arrested in the clean up in the final episode; another woman in the office was. He just stood there and watched it happen.

But Fisk is definitely an accomplice in all those crimes, yeah. But the crime he's arrested for was racketeering.

ugh, co-signed. there's so much, and a lot of it is revealed slowly. i've watched all the episodes multiple times and it's STILL difficult to connect all of the dots! ^^;
