Formatting posts

New to dreamwidth, so sorry if there's a post on this. How do you format posts, like make things italic and bold and stuff like that?

= italics = bold = strikethrough It's pretty much just using basic html anon.

And of course Dreamwith messed up the post.

Here, take out the spaces

< /s> = strikethrough
< b>< /b> = bold
< i>< /i> = italics

If you're using Firefox, there's an extension called "BBcodeXtra" that will let you format things you select/insert with a right-click. For formatting on Dreamwidth, you'd have to use the htmlXtra sub-menu.
