Oh wow, that's quite a long time. Though I'm surprised you say it takes a month or two until an arraignment. There was an article I read that says it has to happen within six days of the arrest. Or maybe that's just the first one, and there's a second one afterwards. It must admit I didn't read it that closely cause I started going crosseyed from all the legal information. :-P Thanks for the info, though! I'll try to work with that.

And the felony is a larger scale fraud, not robbery. Or is that not a class D felony? Though I don't think it matters much because I'm not going to go into a lot of detail on that. I just wanted to get an idea of how long a prison sentence was realistic for that type of crime.
