haha yeah, I have my own thoughts about Foggy and Matt's relationship in light of the "I can't believe I feel sorry for you" comment. It definitely was a low blow, but at the same time understandable. It's easy to see why someone would feel sorry for Matt though, even though he's very insistent on his independence and doesn't ever ask for pity. He walks around with bruises all of the time and makes up excuses for them instead of complaining.
My speculation is that part of the reason Foggy likes Matt so much is because Matt makes him feel needed- both on a physical level (I'm blind, I might need you to lead me around) and an emotional level (because Matt has so, so many emotional issues). Not to mention that Matt makes him his business partner. So Foggy has a high opinion of Matt, but also sees him as someone who is vulnerable and needs his support. Learning that Matt is a kick ass vigilante may have hurt him on that level as well. So far, Matt hasn't needed Foggy in this aspect of his life.
