I'm still stuck on the abuse-in-childhood parallels, which I think are fantastic. (accidentally fantastic? did the show mean to draw those parallels? i go back and forth between yes, they're intentional, and no, probably not) but. i mean. you've got two victims of abuse who grow up to express their tempers in physical ways! mostly it's not excused! it is presented as A Bad Thing!
