I'd like to say it gets more interesting to give you hope, anon, but.... :-/
(I 100% agree with you tho. All of the JJ episodes bleed together in my mind. There's nothing I want to think back on like "Oh, I want to rewatch the episode where X happened," because it's all the same monotonous boring blah).
Now that we're starting to get JJ fills, is anyone else uncomfortable with having only one completed fills post? Since the prompts are copied into the post, if I'm there checking for Daredevil fills and I haven't finished JJ yet the risk of getting spoiled is really high.
Apologies if this has been discussed before, I don't frequent the discussion post.
Round 7 was the round of fluffy Slavery prompts. Also, girl!Foggy. (Which surprised me!)
Round 8 is the round of dark Slavery prompts, but generally just flat out darkness as a whole. Putting the kink back in the kink meme, really, since 6-7 were relatively tame and a lot of the smuttier writers seemed to suddenly not be as active.
AYRT - There were definitely a few prompts floating around, but I just noticed in the last round that suddenly there were a good half-dozen prompts at least looking for scenarios involving Girl!Foggy. Like, Girl!Foggy having her period, Girl!Foggy being platonically friends with Matt, etc.
It made me really happy because before that I had cherished those prompts like they were liquid gold.
I agree with you that the amount of Matt/Karen/Foggy has significantly decreased after earlier rounds. Like, I can't remember the last time I saw that OT3 prompted, actually...
I was disappointed by the first episode. I get it can be slow but I just skipped half way through to the second and hope there's something interesting going to happen. I don't watch television for sex damn it. I got frustrated by that and the slowness of the plot.
Got to say start of second episode doesn't make me want to go back and finish it.
I like mystery but this is just a bad balance of mundane to 'interesting'. I feel like it's not even driving interesting parts of the story.
And OMG the Jessica / Luke interaction is just so crappy like it just feels forced. "oh we both like each other. Oh we're different! let's bond." that's the feeling I got.
I'm going to 'watch' it while doing housework or something as background. I want to see what happens to Killgrave because I love David Tennant (not because of Doctor Who, I got bored of that in a 'not my genre' kind of way) but not enough to see this with 100% attention. I watch Daredevil twice on a binge, this is just meh.
Luke and Jessica were at their most interesting during the five minutes when they were talking about their shared secret of having powers.
That could have been so damn cool, these two people who have finally found someone else like each other that's just a regular non-superhero person from the neighbourhood, but nope. They just had to have terrible sex instead.
It looked uncomfortable, like both were too aware of their powers but not the other so its just like "no can't enjoy this'. Seriously though what was up with that camera work.
