Well, she's had some training in Krav Maga... but you know what, I had some training in Karate, and it didn't make me into a building-jumping ninja who's ready to fight crime. They should have acknowledged it, somehow, probably by Trish demanding in on the action (and Jessica flat-out refusing), but in the end, I was quite glad that we didn't get another hero-ex-machina. At least the ones that we have are already established in their roles.
