Anon here! Well, I'm excited, alright let me grab my medical books. Amputating, oh yeah, I completely see what you mean about it being impossible and too much shock on his system. Originally I REALLY wanted him to lose a foot, but it could be lessened, so he loses only half his foot or the front end gets chopped off (which would bleed like crazy, but not in the speed of an arterial chop). We could go the cauterize route, but I don't really want to since that leads to an insane amount of shock and likely would kill him anyways. Matt could be held hostage and they take his foot from him? Or a hand? How he loses it is up to the writer but medical attention is required for anything that severe. The biological evidence, well, he could just set the entire place on fire. Anything people think is best!
