He's not stupid, per se, but he doesn't have the mind to solve elaborate, life-sized puzzles. His plans generally seem to come down to "let's punch through it", which can only take you so far. His power in Harlem comes from this community-based authority thing built on being a heap of muscles that also can't be shot.
To figure out how to be a *different* kind of vigilante in an environment he isn't very familiar with is, in my opinion, beyond him.
