the anon who originally replied to you said a lot of the things that I meant. I mean Danny would def have had exposure to people with disabilities, but it would have been vastly different. I doubt K'un Lun would have had computers with screenreading software (or computer at all?), so Danny likely wouldn't have known that Matt would be able to interact with computers. Similarly, because he knew Matt was an accomplished fighter, he might not understand Matt's need for a cane and assume he was faking it for the sake of a 'secret identity'.
I never meant to imply that there were no disabled people in K'un Lun, since it's almost a certainty there were, just none with the same abilities and challenges as Matt, since there are pretty much no two people, disabled or otherwise, with the same abilities and challenges.
