Ohhh, I'll look it up! Thank you for the recommendation!! I kind of hate how bad the lawyering parts on the show really are. I get that they are writers, and they probably sacrificed good lawyer-being on the altar of character exposure semi-knowingly, but still. STILL. It's so OBVIOUSLY bad. "My client is guitly, dear jury, people who are easily swayed by emotion, but it should be God who punishes him. You need to declare him non-guilty on this gimmick I just invented, and the judge is letting me do it because he's not a real judge. I rest my case."

Your point from the first paragraph is a great angle for Foggy! Still would take a REALLY good lawyer to convince people that the guy who beat people into comas and then they died didn't make them die, but, you know, Foggy has some time to polish his closing statement. He can do this. Probably. He'll try and he will SUCCEED, dammit, because he is a good lawyer and Matt is a good man. Probably.
