Daredevil goes AWOL right after a battle, and the Avengers aren't sure if he's lying somewhere injured or just fucked off once the fight was over. They go looking for him just in case, and they turn up this blind kid, maybe ten years old, wandering around in the wreckage. He tells them that his name is Matt and he's an orphan, so they take him back to the Tower while they figure out what to do with him. Then they look up his full name and, wait a minute, Matt Murdock is supposed to be an adult blind lawyer. And the kid thinks the year is what now? Wait, you don't think... TL;DR: Matt gets de-aged by a villain. The Avengers find him, but it takes them a little while to figure out that he's Daredevil.
