I don't really think "fangirl" either, but I just can't seem to find a better word. It's just, there's something sweetly naive and ethusiastic in the way she talks about him in the early times. And she obviously sees him as a hero, without even noticing anything else about him.

Later, when "she only sees dark corners" and "doesn't see the difference, not anymore" it's the exact opposite. And after her disappointment with Frank, I think she'd be even deeper into that mindset.

I don't think she's against DD. I think after the bus incident (along with everything else) her opinions are a mess, and she doesn't want to think about it.

But then Matt forces her to.
