Jessica Jones gets into a fight with one of her clients and kicks the crap out of him. Only this time, the client takes her to court for assault. Jerri is busy/doesn't want to deal with Jess, so she puts her newest associate on the case: Foggy. Foggy finds out Jessica is a Gifted and the circumstances surrounding her transformation.

During the trial, the prosecutor is anti-Gifted and wants to make this case about tracking and monitoring the Gifted. He/she goes off about how dangerous and unpredictable the Gifted are, and how many of them become criminals and vigilantes. Foggy can barely stay professional and starts to take this case VERY seriously!
