Matt and Foggy haven't talked and Foggy is fine with that. He's done with Matt and the whole Daredevil thing, thinking it selfish even though he is working with Jessica Jones etc. One day a man comes in with an unusual request: he wants to find Daredevil as his son wants to thank him. Foggy learns about the Matt taking on the Russians in season 1 to rescue the little boy.

It makes Foggy realise there is a need for Matt and he starts to understand why Matt can't give up the whole Daredevil deal.
