Re: We're all killers here, Gen or Frank/Matt, self-righteous Avengers getting called out

Thank you, I forgot about that :) While I really wouldn't call Ross a good witness, I'm inclined to believe that at least people got hurt a lot.

True, Bruce is very far on the "I messed up" list, but I doubt he would condone anything the Punisher does, anyway.

I didn't really say it in the prompt (it was long enough already), but I also see the Avengers on a sliding scale of self-righteousness.
For example, Bruce knows he has done wrong, but he may still think his being regretful about it makes him a better person than Frank.
Steve is very much the Good Guy, so he'd hate Frank because of his methods, but I also think he'd be a bit too naive (in my mothertongue you say "blue-eyed") to realise that he isn't much better just because his kills were enemy soldiers.
And Tony is in my opinion almost callous about killing people, what with his obviously deadly weaponry and his quips and witty one-liners. On the other hand, he also thinks he can get out of trouble by throwing money at it, so I'd see him very high on the hipocrisy scale.

That's all just my interpretation, though, I'm sure somebody else sees them completely different :)
