Matt loses everything. His work, his home, his friends, his family. Frank has every expectation that this will make Matt see the 'truth', and that at last Matt will take to the Punisher's way of doing things. Matt doesn't. He keeps on being Daredevil, keeps fighting the same way he always has, without killing. He builds up Nelson and Murdock again, keeping the name in Foggy's memory, but not abandoning his civilian life and continuing to fight as both Murdock and Daredevil to make Hell's Kitchen a better place. He's sadder, lonelier, worse-off than he was...but he's a Murdock. He gets back up again. Frank has absolutely no idea how to deal with this.
