When Foggy said it, Matt didn't really register it past "I never asked for that" because Foggy wasn't the one who'd fucked up big time. But now he can't stop thinking about it. He knows that a lot of people pity him for a lot of reasons. He just can't really stand the idea that Foggy is one of them.
