(author-anon with bipolar/OCD) I am pretty lucky that I got help back then. But I have no idea what would've happened if I didn't. I hadn't gone to school in a month, at one point I hadn't eaten or slept in three days. It was so fucking awful. Apparently I was the worst case my psychiatrist had seen in years. She would have sent me to the hospital if it weren't for the fact that my parents were retired and could take care of me at home.

I'm just happy that filling a prompt that people can relate to in some way. Because I know I can't stand it when someone who hasn't done their research decides to write a character with mental illness, it just drives me up the wall (*glares at the people in my screenwriting classes*).
