A little later between bouts, Foggy brings a bewildered Karen up to speed, and she asks 'okay, but what about the kissing thing.' Foggy explains about the requirement of giving your champion a 'favor' before they go into battle and how they had to go for kissing because Foggy didn't have any ribbons on hand. Now they are stuck doing the kiss for every battle because ~rules.

Karen says, "...okay, but. But that first time, why didn't you just use your tie?"
