Matt reluctantly lifts his head and cocks it at the fridge. The praise and congratulatory scritches behind his ear make it a little easier to disengage his mouth and ease her legs back down. He lets her legs settle back together politely and pulls up a throw blanket so she doesn't feel cold or exposed while he's gone, then retrieves two plates from the fridge. He's only a little disappointed when Claire pats the cushion next to her instead of removing the blanket and telling him to put the plates away again.
