Hah, well, I mainly write happy slavery stuff, so my preference is obvious, but...XD I'm feeling that if Matt got sold into slavery as punishment for being a vigilante, they wouldn't want him doing the exact same stuff, just under another private person's (i.e., no official government organ) thrall. Keeping up the state monopoly of force is usually essential in any civilised society (and the avengers are...semi-official?) Soooo, even if Foggy wants to treat Matt as an equal, he d be worried even more sick if Matt still wants to go out, because he d be put down next time. Maybe Matt changes his costume, so you can't tell it s him without capturing him, but it would lead to insane tensions between the two. I would honestly be curious how Foggy and Matt, both as canon-like as possible (so, not as dark!variants) resolve this. I don't think Matt could function indefinitely without going Daredeviling, and I doubt Foggy would be able to see him suffer forever if he forbade him from going out regardless. And what would ic!foggy do if Matt went out against his orders?
