Foggy is very comfortable being around the blind. He had Matt as his BFF and met other blind people through Matt. It's all perfectly normal to him.

So he doesn't really think anything of it when he starts dating someone who's blind

It's other people who seem to find it odd or "sweet".

Foggy basically rips people a new one if they insulate he's "sweet" for taking a blind person out or assuming he's their carer.

+Foggy's family is also unfazed by it. They've known Matt for years after all.
