i like that the idea seems to be that the moment matt comes home, foggy arranges the appointment. like foggy was probably waiting up for him to come back, worried out of his mind, and when matt get's home he just knows he's in for it. only, he thinks foggy will probably just lecture him, or possibly a quick spanking (doesn't happen often, but matt can deal with it when it does - his threshold for pain is pretty spectacular, and it's always the knowledge that he's disappointed foggy that upsets him most.) so he's completely thrown for a loop when foggy calls up the clinic, and foggy knows he's FINALLY driving his point home.

ugh, maybe foggy wouldn't correct the doctor for saying that, either, even though he doesn't agree. after all, matt was being stupid - going out when he was injured, when he knew foggy didn't want him to.
