Foggy doesn’t even really seem surprised when Matt doesn’t obey his command to kneel.

“What if I don’t?” Matt asks.

“Then I’ll ask you why not.”

“What if I don’t have a good reason?”

There is a slight rustle, Foggy moving behind him. It’s not any particular sort of movement, no goal in mind, just a solid reminder of his presence.

“I think,” Foggy says, “A better question might be what would happen if you do.”
