Oh, and I looked up some info online. Apparently in Germany, the health insurances only recommend the shingles vaccine if you're over 50. So, yeah, that gives me another 11 years until I'm actually eligible. :-)

Fun (but useless) language fact: The German word for shingles (Gürtelrose) translates to "belt rose". I'm not sure if that's descriptively poetic, or just stupid.
