I like to imagine that Matt started out being all 'I'll just get a crucifix, nothing too fancy' and then he got hooked (and it definitely helped that the tattoo artist was literally the nicest guy and he really wanted to have a chance to talk to him again), and now he's pretty much looking like the Ghent alterpiece these days (ooh, with maybe a simplified version of Guido Reni's Archangel Michael' on his leg or something)
