Dragon in a romantic hospital AU for some reason made me think of one of those really awful Mills and Boons books, where the brooding man has a ~dark past~ and ~tortured soul~ and his love interest finds themselves falling passionately in love even though they originally hated him, except like literally no-one points out that the brooding man is a FIRE-BREATHING LIZARD who looks good in a tight-cut suit.
