Chicken pox can be dangerous for adults if you didn't have it as a child unless you got it as a child and then got it as an adult... Its rare but you can have it twice. I did. At 8 months old, I got chicken pox and got a very weak immunity from it. I developed a mild case of chicken pox in college but didn't get a second case when my younger brothers had it when I was a kid.
