Daredevil is the prickly one of the local vigilantes. He's essentially a whirlwind of controlled violence and prickly demeanour, and he's not all that good with victims after the fact, either, preferring to leave that to the more personable types. So why is it that, after rescuing one Foggy Nelson, Daredevil ends up escorting him back to his apartment, fretting and generally acting like he is actually human under the mask? For that matter, why is he letting Foggy fuss over him when he won't even let the Avengers patch him up? Something about Foggy Nelson turns Daredevil into a complete teddy bear, and it's freaking the Avengers out. Naturally, the only sensible conclusion is mind control.
Bonus points for:
- Matt/Foggy romance, and Matt being kind of alarmed when he finds out what the other Avengers are speculating about.
- Actual investigations into how/why Foggy is brainwashing Daredevil turning up nothing and this only frightening the Avengers more.
- At some point an Avenger breaks into Foggy's apartment to question him about his relationship with Daredevil, and Foggy completely misunderstands and makes the Avenger think he's gloating about having Daredevil on a leash...completely by accident.
