Matt and Foggy are best friends. Like, Matt braids Foggy's hair for him while they hang out and watch movies that Foggy provides awesome audio description for; they go out and get drunk together and although they both pretend they are there to pick up girls, really they are just there to hang out. They have a regular pizza (or something) night, they have so many inside jokes they forget that other people don;t know what they're taking about. The speak in a kind of shorthand sometimes that outer people really don't get.

Foggy is attracted to Karen and keeps inviting her along on all the Foggy and Matt bro-dates and it's just not the same any more. It's not that Matt doesn't like Karen, he does, but this is just for him and Foggy...
