Matt meets Foggy after Stick. They get along very well. A few years pass and after spending almost all his free time and holidays with the Nelsons is close to them.

Then he's told he's going to be adopted and unable to see the Nelsons for technical reasons. Matt's devastated and determined to hate the new family, until he meets the Nelsons.

Foggy Nelson and Matt Nelson Murdock still go to Columbia together but this time as brothers.
