Is Anyone Entering the Minor Character Fic Challenge?

Just wondering... there hasn't seemed to be a lot of interest or entries yet, but I'm also thinking that a lot of people may have it in the back of their mind or low on their priority list until closer to the deadline in a couple weeks. I'm not sure which one it is. I've never run a challenge before to know if a lot of people usually enter as the deadline approaches.

Is anyone still planning on entering, or is it looking kinda DOA?

As one of the people who've already entered I think (hope) you'll find people entering last minute. Usually I use every moment until a deadline to do something so I don't think you've given it enough time to declare it DOA.

I hope you get more entries soon. =)

I want to enter, but I'm already working on a long, complicated fic, and I can only concentrate on one thing at a time. :-( So I will probably miss the deadline. Sorry!

So, a miracle happened, I finished my long fic, and wrote a new one for the challenge! Yay!

maybe you could extend the deadline a little bit? and/or change some of the rules to make it more casual (like, if there aren't many participants then there maybe doesn't need to be prizes? it's a nice reward in itself for there to be more fics centred around these characters, imo)

it could definitely be that people are waiting till closer to the deadline to get cracking, though...
