Yeah I'm hoping they skip over Malcolm wholesale in the Netflix series, or rework him into a completely different character. Like, who would actually walk into some stranger's office and start answering their phones, essentially playing around with their livelihood? Why would she hire him after that??

I got the feeling he was supposed to be an audience proxy, like "hey, we all love superheroes, don't we? Here's a fanboy inside the universe, doing what we all wish we could do!" but to me, instead of quirky or funny he came off as utterly lacking in boundaries and horribly annoying, and because of that disconnect between the narrative intent and the execution, he was intensely unpleasant to behold for every second of his panel time. Also personally, I would find a strange man willing to invade my life because he's read a lot of news stories about me and decided he's entitled to my time disturbing and, yeah, pretty threatening. Then again, I don't have super strength.
