Depending on where on the timeline you place Age of Ultron, Steve's Scarlet Witch nightmare no longer is about him not having a purpose without war, but him being unable to give up war to be a good dad/losing his brand new little family due to his own fears of uselessness. (Also it ties in really well with the fatherhood themes in that movie.)
