DAYRT - I actually really like this idea, and I'm saying that as a relative newbie to actually participating in a kinkmeme. I'm one of those Gen people who usually don't find what they're looking for in a kinkmeme. But like another anon says, the wonderful thing about this one is that it's open to any kind of fic, and not just the "kinky" stuff -- in the strict sense of the word.
When I first started posting, I was really hesitant, because I constantly had the paranoid feeling that I was going to do something wrong, and would then be told off about it -- anon posting or not. Also took me a long time to figure out the acronyms like SAYRT, DAYRT etc. I would have loved to have some more specific guidance on how this thing is supposed to work.
For me, it was all basically trial and error, and looking at what other people were doing. Sometimes I still forget that you're supposed to put "Fill" in the subject line when you post one.
So, yes, I'm all for this project. That said, I'm not a kinkmeme vet, so I don't know how much input I could personally give.
And I can also co-sign that this is one of the happiest fandom places I've been in, and I hope that never changes. People are very tolerant and mindful of each other. There's lots of encouraging feedback when you post a fill, and I also love that people are open to collaborating, e.g. when you want to play in the same sandbox as a fic universe someone else created.
I can honestly say that I've never written this much fic in such a short period of time in *any* fandom, and I wanna squish you all into a big group hug! :-D
