i know that putting together a fanfiction archive/library/rec-blog on tumblr is a pretty common practice for fandom + i was thinking about setting one up for daredevil. i don't want to step on any toes or upset anyone + i've never run one before so i was just wondering: is it okay, etiquette-wise, to link works on the blog (not post them, just include the title/length/brief description and then provide a link to the fic) (with full credits to the author, obviously) without seeking permission or should i seek explicit permission first.

i'm basically just looking to set up an easy-to-navigate recommendation list and was just wondering if anyone had any advice on doing it unproblematically!! :-)
