I thought this would be interesting for reference, but Charlie Cox spoke briefly about Matt's age during an interview yesterday:
“The way you bring a character to life is in the details—in the little nuances here and there, and so in order to find them, you need to really immerse yourself and discover who that person is. In this case, it’s a man who was blinded at the age of nine and so has grown up with nine years of sight and is now 28 or 29—twenty years of being physically blind.”
