Wow. I am an underachiever. 3,000 words took me a month and a half. (And I may still tweak it some.)

Of course, my fic is almost as much about the stuff that I wrote and decided didn't really matter, so took back out. That's really depressing.

I do hope OP likes it, though. I completely feel you there.
